Red, white and KABOOM baby! A family owned a operated fireworks stand
in Park City, KS.
The Brief
Create a design that has some personality and punch. Pack in as much 'merica as we can. Stick with traditional red, white and blue, but I decided to tone it down a little and use deeper shades to give it a more americana feel.
The 13 stars represent the original 13 colonies and the tattoo heart is a easter egg for Betsy Ross and her contribution to the flag.
BEYOND THE LOGO
Early adaptations of this logo started off with some congestions trying to squeeze in too much, including a full bodied eagle. Being able to simplify the logo was also a early thinking in the creative process. Taking the eagle straight out of the circle is allowing for simplifying for aesthetics and allowing for more versitle use..
